About us

DeCamp's Spotlight School of Dance is Genesee County's premier dance studio and provides the area’s best dance instruction for dancers of all ages and levels for the past 21 years. We are not just a great dance studio, we are family! Our dance family is made up of a strong supportive staff that work hard to teach our dancers lessons in the studio that will help them succeed in and out of the studio throughout their lives. DeCamp’s Spotlight is located at 6435 Atherton Rd, in Burton MI and is centrally located to welcome students from all over Genesee County. Our students range in age from 3-years-old through competitive adult. We offer classes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Adagio for both recreational and competitive dancers. Our 3 elite competitive dance companies are chosen through an audition process in August, and these students compete at dance competitions regionally in Michigan and nationally as well. Our acclaimed Spring Dance Concert is the best show in town and presents what all of our talented dancers have learned over the dance season with exciting and new choreography every year!
